Every major city in Turkey has air service but most international flights are connected through airports at Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir. Antalya, Bodrum and Dalaman airports have direct international flights especially during the summer (which lasts for almost 6 months in South Turkey).
Turkish Airlines, major airlines of Turkey and a high volume airport also in the world, has both national and international flights. You can book and your flight online at www.turkishairlines.com or call Turkish Airlines toll free at 1 800 874 88 75.
You can also check the
Turkish Airlines Offices worldwide (20 locations). In the last years, due to reductions in taxes, flights within Turkey became cheaper. Another reason for this is the increasing of the competition with new airlines. A typical flight from Istanbul to Izmir or antalya would cost approximately EUR 40-70 depending on the occupancy rate of the plane. Quality airlines that I can offer are Pegasus Airlines (flypgs.com) and Atlas Jet (atlasjet.com.tr). Other than these most major airlines in the world have direct flights to Turkey. There are also various charter flights especially to Antalya, Izmir and Istanbul during summer months.
