The take off point is approximately 1000 mt. high in Kas. Usually flights take about 35-40 minutes. The paragliding tours for non professionals are done with a professional licensed pilot. During the land off you should take a few steps in order to catch the wind and then sit to your seat (usually called a harness) and enjoy the scene while the pilot takes the full control afterwards. Don’t forget to take a bottle of water and a camera with you to take some pictures of the nice view. Paragliding is technically much more safe than driving. So don’t be afraid to try this sport. All tours provide you also with a parachute for the worst case scenario. The Oludeniz region at Fethiye is considered to be the best place for paragliding in the world. Izmir, Antalya and Kas are other suitable places having variour tours that can offer a paragliding experience to you. |
