Visa Requirements
All visa applicants are required to apply to the Consulate General in person. If you are unable to do this due to a valid reason, you should contact the Consulate before to be exempted from this rule.Visa application form must be fully filled before your submission. Application form can be easily downloaded from the consulate internet website or can be obtained from the Consulate General pesonally.
All passport holders from any country in the world must have a minimum of 6 months validity on their passports before their arrival to Turkey.
All visa and other administrative fees must be paid in cash or by postal order/company cheque (made payable to Turkish Consulate General). Credit and debit cards or personal cheques are not accepted.
Depending on your nationality and visa type, all fees and refundment policies differ.
Travel Agencies are allowed to make up to a maximum of 3 visa applications at once.
Family members (partners and kids) are permitted to make their applications at the same time during one single appointment. Group applications are not accepted.
Under normal conditions, visa applications may take up to three working days to process. However, depending on your nationality and the type of visa you are requesting, your applications may need to be consulted to the relevant Turkish authorities in Turkey for their approval which generally takes minimum 6 to 8 weeks. Please clarify your status during the application. Most typical tourist visas take up to three working days.
Please note that the validity of a visa starts on the day it was granted by this Turkish Consulate unless otherwise specified.
